Specialists in Slimline double glazing for the timber window restoration market. The Slimline unit replaces the traditional single pane to improve the window energy efficiency rating and reduce noise levels.
Our units are hand-made to bespoke measurements with a 7mm sight line, ensuring, once glazed, the aesthetics of the window are maintained. The units are quality checked at each stage of the process, ensuring the highest quality levels are achieved.
For smaller annealed orders, we can make in a day. If there is a toughened requirement, there is a lead time of 2-3 days.
Slimline double glazing from 11mm to 16mm.
Our best seller is the 11mm Slimline unit. The units are constructed of clear float glass (either 3mm or 4mm), a 4mm low-emissivity soft coat, then gas filled with Argon or Krypton and a choice of either white or black Heritage Super Spacer bar (4mm, 6mm or 8mm).
Toughened Slimline double glazing from 12mm to 16mm
Building regulations dictate that any window below the level of 800mm, or within 1500mm of a door, must be fitted with safety glass. We are now able to offer a 4.5mm toughened restoration glass, contact us for details.
We are not lucky enough to have our own toughening plant yet, so we have established close relationships with local toughening houses to buy in the single leaf and make the units in-house.

We use a modern technique to create the effect of traditional stained glass using:
- Film Overlay,
- A variety of 4.5mm, 6mm and 9mm lead,
- A wide range of glass bevels
- Fusion tiles to give your windows and doors a unique look.
Restoration Glass
Where old meets new. For an authentic heritage style window, we can offer restoration glass that replicates the wavy effect of the original glass that are in situ.
This can be made in to a Slimline unit with the second leaf being low-e soft coat to improve the thermal efficiency of the window.
Acoustic units
If you live in a noisy part of town and you wish to reduce the decibels, then a 6.8mm Acoustic laminate, paired with the 4mm low-e soft coat, can make all the difference. The unit size will start at 14.8mm.
